: System.getProperty('os.name') = 'Windows 10' : Minecraft Launcher 1.6.48 (through bootstrap 100) started on windows. Ps: I have latest everything forge 1.8 and minecraft 1.8.9 I also Tried to find info on the error I got in my log but I haven't been able to fix this.over a month now I am having serious Minecraft & Forge withdrawals. I have tried just about everything I found on the web : install-uninstall minecraft, forge, took out all mods, updated to windows 10.uninstalled java switched to java oracle 8.65.
